Who prefer black and white art pieces

I am fascinated by art with a mixture of different shades of black and white. They somehow touch me deeper than colored art. I am not sure if I am strange or not. hehe

    I love working with black and while when doing oil painting and faces. With black and white I get lost in pure modeling the image, whereas when using colour I thinking about how to make the colours work. I also like the stark contrasts.
    I wouldn't say I prefer it though, it just meets a different need visually and technically.
