Who tried Affiliates Marketing ?

I have tried Adsense for a year, that's a good way to make money if you have talent for writing (I confess I had none so I only managed to make 80$ per month), but not a way to get any decent revenue for mere mortals like me.

So I would like to try Affiliates Marketing from now on and would like to know the pitfalls and where to start.

Any suggestion ?

Oh man I could only imagine making $80 a month in adsense! Right now I'm looking at a few pennies a day! Granted I've only had my blog on for a week..maybe that has something to do with it?

  That doesn't astonish me because for getting such results I did write on specific niches and I had a lot of pages so it was a lot of work, too much for the compensation.
  
  Your blog is a general blog so keyword cost must be low.

hehehe yeah its really hard to use adsense now since all the people that uses the internet knows about Adsense.

Affiliate Marketing is i think the best way to earn money right now since all u need to do is advertise the products of the advertiser.

u can choose from text links to banners.

  Yeah but I heard you can get killed by ads expense on Adwords.
