Who's the boss?

If you're in a relationship, who tends to get their way more often, and why? In my marriage, my wife's opinion usually makes more sense. How about with you?

We're pretty even. If anything, we try to defer to one another TOO much. Sometimes it makes picking a place for dinner just crazy.

Easy question. I get all the minor decisions. My husband gets all the major ones. Of course, in 19 years, there's never been a major decision.

I also split child rearing 50/50. I called the first 10 years. He gets the second 10. Then we swap. He gets the third 10, I get the 4th. Fair? I think so!

it's a give and take thing for us. if something really doesn't matter to me then I have no problem doing it his way. If it matters to me then I speak up. Things work out kind of fitty-fitty believe it or not. I used to like to always have my way but as I've aged I've learned that a relationship isn't a competition.

I will admit to doing the "where do you want to eat" thing though

We both are, but most of the time he listens to me, but I can't say I wear the pants in the marriage. I let him be the man, and sometimes I get to be the man to. LOL
