Why are there so MANY "SEX" questions? And Religious Questions?

Topics: always talking about religion, always talking about sex

I'm not frigid or anything - but I'm kind of surprised at the AMOUNT of questions based around SEX that seem to be popping up in this forum.

Is this normal?

I mean - what's the big deal about it?

It's how we got here - it's pleasurable - it's fun - it's the basic step in a relationship...

But - IT IS NOT "THAT" interesting that every fifth conversation needs to be about SEX.

Yanno?

I'm seriously not a prude - and I can discuss sex all the way to the Nth degree - but this is constant... Take a look at every page:

When to talk to children about sex
Panties vs. Thongs
Size Does Matter Part 2
Etc
Etc

I mean - hmmmm I feel like I've got a group of 14 year olds in here trying to just stir the pot.

Now - about the Religion thing.

Hmmmm...

I don't really think that a WORLDWIDE forum - for people of MULTI Faiths it is appropriate to constantly proselytize a faith's concept.

Everyone believes in something different - and Religion is a very sensitive topic to some people.

Each person has their own perspective - mine is but one.

But I do know seeing so many conversations about Sex and Religion - it makes me wonder if there is just a group of Very suppressed religious Zealots posting continuously...

Anyhow - this is to say that there are so MANY other topics that could be discussed.

Especially by you VERY GOOD BLOGGERS!

Me sexually obsessed? I can see my boyfriend rolling his eyes.

But I do love to tease and either topic is very good to do just that.

I have noticed an uptick in the number of sex and religion questions. I think it's the same few BC members who are posting these questions and reviving old threads. Some of the threads are months or even years old.

It actually really annoys me too.

It's just that --- I really don't mind it SOMETIMES... But EVERY day?

It's BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.

And it makes me feel like it makes this place have the "EWWWWWWWWW" factor.

  This forum is generally pretty tame and people don't get too into the racy stuff. There are a lot of very interesting discussions going on too and we play silly games too.
  
  I generally really like the BC forums and the EWWW factor, is pretty low here. Yahoo is EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

Sex, and religion :D)) In my opinion, the 2 things that make the world^_^.
I was wondering why there isn't questions with sex AND religion....why the 2 things have to remain separate?? I would be much more fun!

This is why some of those threads went bye bye. We do have children here and it's inappropriate. I have no problem hitting report when my own child could read it.

  You're right, din...it's less a matter of controversy per se than just plain old getting tired of the issue. Maybe BC should have a sex forum like they do a religion forum and put an age restriction on it?
