I need help? My platform is WORDPRESS.

I found this in wordpress FAQ :

My code has gone from my widget
If you paste code into a widget, save and when you look again it has gone then the system has removed it.
This is done for security reasons.

Anything that has a line like this:

(script type=text/javascript)

or that uses Form or Input tags for instance is not allowed. There are other tags but the effect is the same - they disappear.

There are no exceptions to this.

Because they don't permit it. And I'm not surprised either.

That's your explanation. If something as a script in it, WordPress.com will not allow it to run.

It's not good...we (wordpress bloggers) can't put some cool stuff in our blog?

I wish they will make some changes about their policy/rules or whatever and I can't even put google adsense and other ads..I have accounts already and now it's a waste. I don't want to change my platform anymore. It's hard to get traffic you know.

True troilee, it was a bit thin, I've been teaching computers all morning (Aust time)

If you host it yourself you can embed any script (within reason) because it's hosted on your space. You might check out if you pay a fee to wordpress whether they allow scripts, a lot of scripts aren't so good and can create endless problems from a server side perspective. We sort of need a mix of Blogger and Wordpress...which always comes back to self hosting
