Why did you start blogging....
Is dat adsense,interest,helping others..time pass..etc...etc...

I started blogging....coz when ever I used to talk with the girls they always metioned.. DUDE U have a very good FLIRTING Talent..
that was the motivation... So I started....

I started my guitar blogs as a test. Since then they have had 160,000 visitors and are the worlds best acoustic guitar blogs
Originally a few years back while teaching IT, i found it to be a great solution for people that wanted an online presence but didn't have the skills to develop good working sites
I see blogs as normal websites that google happens to like, easy to edit without having to mess around. -
To help do my part to get Obama elected and my side project was to help NOT get Sarah Palin elected as VP, LOL. I feel like bloggers rocked this year as far as politics is concerned. -

Well, honestly the initial idea was not blogging, but I needed a quick way of posting about Vlad Dracula (dracula-transylvania.blogspot.com). So I picked blogspot as a platform and started posting. It still is something between a blog (seen as an web log) and a "non-blog" site.

I have way too much information about my field of expertise and anytime someone asked me a question I drowned them in information. Now I just refer them to my blog and with a keyword search they can find the right size of information they are after -
because i wanted a reason for being so suicidal on forums which allow us to have signatures filled in with links ! hehe -
i startd for writin later on some told me that u can arn something from it.
but greed of money doesn't raised me still. -
for so many reasons
1-to express my self..
2-spread thoughts I believe in..
3- interact with my world..
4-make new relationships and acquire knowledge and experience.. -
because of my greed about making money online.. shame on me.. -

blogging was/is a fun escape even now that my life seems to be back on track -
I started blogging because I was writing my memoir about my experiences as a former actor, punk musician, sex industry worker and heroin addict and my 15 year journey of recovery. I want to raise awareness about the need for free and available treatment and to launch my Melindaville Foundation, which will help addicts in the sex industry receive treatment and job training/college, etc.

My reason for beginning to blog (which I just started to do pretty recently) was to help/inspire others and also to help myself by getting my own voice/story out there too. -
Well I had initiated a few blogs b4 but lost interest after some time. What made me stick this time is the knowledge that money can be made by blogging. I'll give myself some more time b4 I even think about making a few hundred $$$ every month. I have learnt a few things and trying to implement them. -

I started blogging to get my name out in the world and to make some money. Also to share my interests, thoughts, and ideas to the world.

i love to write, and i felt like it was more for me than anyone else. but hey, if a normal person's life is interesting, people can totally read it! haha
also, it was suggested that blogging will benefit me when it comes to applying for writing internships. so beneficial all around! -
When I first started blogging I had an environmental blog. As I was the paralegal researcher for several environmental organizations working under contracts. I had huge files and so many briefs, memorandums, reports and emails to write that I found it hard to keep up with the informal requests from members, who were searching for references I already had on hand. I decided to have a blog and to also have newsletters so I could address the member needs while still getting my contracted work done.
After I became an environmental blogger it didn't take very long for me to realize that I loved blogging and from there I developed other blogs on different subjects. I particularly loved blogging on wordpress software so I abandoned my blogspot blog very early on. As time progressed I answered over 7,000 questions on a blogging forum and along the way I realized that by creating a blogging tips blog I would not have to type the same answers and explanations out over and over again so I became a blogging tips blogger too.
My environmental blog was very successful and I kept it going until summer of 2007 when I did not have either the energy or inclination to bother discussing global warming with climate change deniers who were ruining the quality of the discussions on my blog.
From there I went on to create more blogs both on wordpress and on tumblr software. I love blogging. I have never blogged for money. I do it because writing and sharing information with others is my passion. -
Years from now I want to be able to read my postings and be able to see what I will have gone through to achieve my goal. -

well, in my opinion blogging is the only way out i can find many friends plus lesson on internet, reads many great articles, learned everything here

firstly to make some extra cash from home, while i went to school. Then it became something I did as a hobby, that's why i blog on different topics. I also blog to have a sense of community online as I go. -
It centers me. I talk too much in person, putting something down on paper(err.. electrons) helps me achieve my necessary nirvana.. -

i wanted to share my poetry -
Basically I began my blog to reach out to others through my writing. I wanted to voice my experiences with depression and darkness so that others can relate and not feel alone. I wanted to inspire others. -
My SIL started a blog. I figured if she could find time to blog, I could, too. I chose haiku/senryu as an excersise in brevity. -

I didn't and i never wanted (i thought it is a stupid idea ;))), it just happened. Started to do some things which showed the need to spread the word about, and that was the spark. -

When I was 3 years old my mom ran off and left me, a sister and an older brother alone. When I was in elementary school a teacher embarrassed me so badly that I went from being an extrovert to an interovert. When I was 18 a guy sexually molested me. I could go on and on but you would get bored. I began to blog because I knew there were other men who had wounds from life experiences and they were hiding just like I was. I began to blog hoping that I could encourage just one guy to move forward out of the hiding. I do not claim to be a writer but I do write from the heart and it is sometimes raw and sometimes moving. It may not be perfect but it is about life and things men can identify with.
