I joined a NASA program, and my friends and family all fired questions at me. I thought I'd try to start a blog that everyone could read, so I wouldn't have to keep writing my answers over and over again in emails!
Honestly, I only thought my mother and a few close friends would subscribe and follow it, long-term. but FOX news found it, put it and my on the air and it just exploded. I did another project for the space program, so I just kept writing. I'm starting my third this month so I guess it's kinda turned into a JOB, lol...

I got diagnosed with cancer and couldn't go back to school, so i started blogging a couple of months ago... ugh i was also seriously depressed by all of the "cancer blogs" i found on the internet that were serious and sad and NOT encouraging at all. i wanted to start something that was kind of funny to keep my friends updated and not worried (because my diagnoses isn't serious or particularly life-threatening)
I LOVE the community i've found by blogging and i definitely want to continue even after my treatments are over...

That's really a good reason! And I'm happy to read that you want to change the way people normally think about a disease and being all sad. It's not fun to be sick, but positive thinking can mean so much more! I will definitely take a look on your blog!! Happy blogging and all the luck with your treatments!

originally cause i wanted to take a different approach to looking for a better job. I thought if I wrote about my field, my true knowledge and understanding of the business would speak for itself...and give me an edge over the other 30,000 applicants!!! Now...I actually have developed a following (small) from around the globe...and it is fun and unique to think that I type something off the top of my head in my home, and within 24 hours people from around the world are reading it!!

I'm very passionate about writing, and I saw my blog as a good way to express myself and to show people that there's more to me than just that silly hedgehog-loving girl. I've always loved to write, so blogging was kind of like a godsend to me. Before it I had no clue how to share my writing with the world.

I started blogging because of my curiosity about what blog was after I read the introduction about blog in an online newspaper.
And up to now, it has becomed one of my hobbies. I like it and my blog is like an own corner of mine where I can express myself and enjoy whatever I want to share to the community. And through blog, I can also open my mind a lot by joing into the world of bloggers...There are a lot of interesting things for me to enjoy my free time out there... -
The first blog I created, Pulse of My Heart, was started to give my wife's family updates about her medical condition (heart attack, heart failure, listing for transplant, recovery). Since then, it's attracted a broader audience (in part because I have a humor blog that seems to have some spillover traffic).

I used to write the selected verses of the holy Quran on a white board placed inside our joint room in our house in Lahore. Later, when I came to know that Blogger provides web space, for sharing knowledge I decided to use blogspot as my white board placed on the world wide web. It was a great pleasure for me to see the 1st international reader of my blog.
Now, I have two blogs one of them is a team blog and the other one is my personal blog where I upload a few samples of my nature photography.
Three B.C members have already started to write in my blog. -
I started to write a book but stalled - needed something that would force me to write almost daily, and then I figured a blog and communicating with other bloggers would also keep me going.
and so, my blog is a launchpad for my book, the sexcapades of an accountant (or one of NP's wonderful titles)
