Besides the fact that every time I use a Windows PC it magically reboots or gets a virus... I just installed Microsoft Word on my Macbook, and now internet fonts look funny. Not all fonts, not on all websites, but on my own site mostly. What is up with that? *shakes a fist at Microsoft*

    hehe. Watch this: digg.com/microsoft/When_Windows_Vista_Tech_Support_Gets_Tired_Of_You

Maybe i'll make mac users feel more superior

Make? Uhm....have you actually talked to a Mac user? Hehheh.

To answer the question in the title....because you have a human pulse. Microsoft is the bubonic plague of the 21st Century...only twice as excruciating.

MS is a bane on society.

Ha. This is why I switched to Mac. I think I'm going to uninstall Word, the font change is horrid...

I had the program on here before I lost everything and had to start from scratch and it didn't do this before. It's laughing at me I tell you.

I don't hate Microsoft but I do think that all of their programs are buggy. It is hard to understand why they can't get it right.

I have never used Mac products so I don't know if what people say about how great they are is true.

If it is true, Microsoft should stop trying to buy Yahoo and buy Apple instead.

"If it is true, Microsoft should stop trying to buy Yahoo and buy Apple instead."

Curse you for putting that out there. If that happened I would have to boycott computers all together.

Mac programs are great, but to be honest, since they switched to Intel, they haven't been as good as they could be. My first Mac was a Powermac G5. As much as I love my Macbook, it doesn't compare to that G5...

The few times I have had experiences with a Mac, I found out how easy it is to turn them off..... I just had to start an application and the entire system crashed.
    Way to go Apple........
Oh, you mean that my subjective experiences aren't representative for the entire system? Oh wonders........

I have never had many problems with Microsoft's products which weren't explainable by other parties, such as faulty hardware or drivers (you'd be surprised at how often "Windows problems" are in fact 3rd part driver issues), 3rd party software et al.
Microsoft largest problem were the trust it placed in its users and thus the initial architecture of Windows which has been carried around like a legacy since.
Well, that and that they were too successful - cause many people don't like it when others make it big.

How long has it been since you've used a Mac? I know they used to be buggy years ago, but I've been using them since 2003 and haven't had problems with the whole system crashing like that.

I just blogged about this yesterday. For me it was Microsoft Office.

I found free software from Sun called OpenOffice. I'm giving it a try.

I actually meant to say Office, but since Word is part of Office, it's ok And Word is the only program in Office I've opened since installing, so I ut all the blame on it.

    Word on my Macbook

I think your answer is right there. Microsoft and Macs have been enemies since the Mac was invented.

Besides, Microsoft hates everyone, so don't take it personally.

You need FREE opensource software, including:

    www.firefox.com for a browser

www.openoffice.org/ - comparable to word but better! :-)

I already use Firefox (just switched back from Camino, which was too buggy for me). I had Open Office back in 2003ish when I was on the G5, but I forgot about it.
