Here's mine.... I am actually new to the blogging world... it was my husband and my daughter who introduced me to blog, and now I'm hooked. I love to write about my family, my hobbies, my interests and would love to share some tips and how to's on things I love doing. Blogging is such a good idea because you get to express your feelings and your thoughts and a good shock absorber, too

I blog because I'm a narcissist who thinks he's funny...and wants a larger audience other than the people I work with.
Working so far.

Hello!
I started just to share with family my childs growing up. Then we got into loom knitting so I started sharing some of my work with my family and then some other loom knitters I was meeting. Then that lead into other things.. Now, I don't have the time I once did to blog but I still put updates on and then (I will go back to blogging once we get settled into our new home but for now I can't post anything about it. So, my post have slowed down until we get moved.)
I love reading why other people do tho. Great topic.

Blogging is the First Step of becoming a professional SEO....If you cant put your blog on top in the search engines ranking....then there is no way you can put other ppls site on top as a professional SEO

At on point nearly two years ago, I realized the only writing I had done for several years was work related email. And that thought made me slightly ill.
I began blogging to exercise some of the unused brain cells that were starting to atrophy. I needed to write something and the blog seemed to be the best format.
Since then I've discovered it helps me chronicle the minor event in my life so I don't forget them.
It also made me a better reader. Now when I read books, I do so with the goal of reporting on that book in my blog. I get more out of my reading that way, and perhaps other people can benefit from my book review.
Or at least my random ramblings.

I blog because I have this nasty habit of wanting to eat three times a day.

To build up my own resource of articles -- which I don't forget over a period of time; possibly, be also able to make some money out of this some day; for some very close friends who like to read what i write; hopefully, (I believe) the information I provide is useful to some people; it's definitely better than wasting time over trivials; great therapy when I feel down -- blogging helps me take my mind over lots of things... ok, done!!

It helps keep the computer chair in shape,
sustains the ROI on the computer and continually justifies it purchase,
is a great diversion from counting flowers on the wall,
makes a truthful excuse to tell some folks I'm busy, and
provides the likelihood I'll meet someone new & interesting walking down the electric boardwalk of blogs :-) -
I get a lot of questions about my wah job, so I started my blog for people who are interested in MT.
-
Oops, sorry - MT is medical transcription and wah is work at home.

mtchick, thanks! and my hat's off to you, your profession is important & requires precision. And your blog; it's like a camera on your work! So well written, so revealing, and so honest. I like it.

Honestly, I started blogging because I'd heard I could make a little money with Google Adsense. Well, it didn't take long for me to realize I wasn't going to get rich off these little ads. But something even better happened. I picked a blog topic that makes my life better and makes me a happier person. Now I look forward to writing everyday and reseaching stories about people who are changing our world for the better.
LifePrints makes me happy and it has given me a more positive outlook on humanity. I hope it does that for my readers too. I've made some great friends and contacts. That's a plus, also. I'll keep blogging for a long time to come. -
For me it is cheaper than therapy. I get to write how I feel as I feel it. Sometimes I get a response, sometimes not. I have the satisfaction of releasing my angst into the universe and feeling all the better for it!

I blog because someone has to articulate the pain and rage and self-destruction deeply embedded in my generation of hoodlums. There is another perspective out here that has been ignored--sometimes for good reasons--for far too long. I blog to give potent voice to my peers who have allowed themselves to become voiceless.

I'm pretty new to blogging too. I work for an online agency - as such I spend a lot of time writing articles for our clients about things which don't really interest me.
I thought it would be really nice to write about the things which I do care about.
I've quickly become pretty addicted - it's very cool to have your own little space on the web -
I blog because more and more people should know about extraterrestrials among us. Did you know there was a secret meeting at the United Nations last february? Come in and take a look....
