What have you created from your imagination that you love? Maybe it’s a painting, drawing, or sculpture…maybe a pie or cuisine with a recipe all your own…maybe you’ve written a song and you’re not a songwriter, but you’re proud of the little diddy nonetheless….maybe you’ve rebuilt a car from a shell that you fell in love with, while no one else could envision the piece of junk turning into the priceless gem that it is.

I love to write, dance, and sing...

    My Personal creations:
    (1) Myself-a person who loves life
    (2) My daughter (Though she is, of course, her own perfect creation).
    (3) A few captivating sentences

Enjoyed your blog and watching you dance. I do the same thing, am rather a good dancer, but not nearly so lovely to look at.

I create because I want the world to look like the way I imagine it. I want it to have more color and a stranger design. So I write and draw among other things.

    Here is my latest:

'Pleading for the Desert(1961)' from 'Portrait of a Mantrap'

Visited your blog! Wow! I didn't expect that! I am really into your honesty and drive and your ability to show yourself (literally and figuratively) Dance is a phenomenal form of expression and you dance beautifully and sensually. I am also going to definitely check out more of your writing.

@Toni t& Bassagirl: I've visited both your blogs and between the two of you, you're going to set off a cosmic explosion! I'm more the Taoist type. I just let the water flow over me.

Gotta have the Yin and the Yang!

My need to create is like my need to eat or talk, it is a means of sustenance and a way to communicate. I don't limit that mode of expression to one style or media, I use whatever means that fits with what it is I want to say.
    1. ToniTMTaylor
      I suppose I do that too...well put...
  6. elitethinker
Human fundamentally needs to create. There is even a name in Philosophy for that but I can't remember.
    1. ToniTMTaylor
      I didn't know that...but, I can believe it. I NEED to create.
    2. noetic
I'd be very interested to know more about this.

You can check out some of my creative stuff at mitajain.wordpress.com/.

    1. ToniTMTaylor
That's great that you have so many avenues for expression...that's great!

      I do too..
I just have a top few that I do must do daily...
  9. ToniTMTaylor
Today I created for a different reason than most times. I wrote my blog trying to remind myself about the decision to be happy. I'm just having a terrible time feeling positive today...
  10. cookingasshole
I create food because I like to eat and show off.
    1. ToniTMTaylor
That is so awesome because I love to eat!

Food is so seductive when it's well made
  11. Haste
I write and create poetry more then anything. Wow you must have read my mind, I just finshed a post about why I write, etc.

    fyinowyouknow.blogspot.com

It gives me a sense or calm and a chance to let me feelings out that I can't convey in the verbal sense.
    1. ToniTMTaylor
Writing just feels good doesn't it. It's almost unexplainable.
  12. dosox
I created creativity & imaginations for myself
  13. noetic
I've dabbled in writing and drawing, but I mostly focus on music composition.

I create because I believe this is fundamental to a healthy existence. It was actually this belief that is the basis for my blog.
    1. ToniTMTaylor
I love writing lyrics. I wish I knew how to write music and knew how to play an instrument. I admire when someone has the ability to do so...
    2. noetic
To be honest, music is less about 'knowing how' and more about 'doing'. Pick up a guitar, mess around a little bit every day. Eventually, you'll start to put it all together.
  14. jmwasson
I create art, rooms, jewelry, delicious food, and gardens. In fact, I'm pretty happy when I'm creating anything... as long as my hands and soul are engaged.
  15. ckhakeem
i create a happiness on every face i know

what i want to create is to put that happinnes to me
    1. ToniTMTaylor
I suppose that is what our existence is about. How to create our own happiness while inspiring others along the way...
  16. ThriftShopRomantic
Right now I'm on page 290-something of writing a humorous space-fantasy novel manuscript.

There are days that it feels extremely rewarding-- and days that I'm tired and less inspired. But overall, it's been amazing to see the fun, weird stuff floating out of my head.
    1. ToniTMTaylor
      I completely understand that...

sometimes you can write for hours and other times it takes so much effort to write two sentences. Whenever I have the great flow, I write till my hands, eyes, and mind are exhausted. I like to take advantage
    2. ThriftShopRomantic
I'm absolutely with ya on that.
  17. polybore
Polybore's creativity, such as it is, is a side effect from the pursuit of new skills.

Polybore is mucking around with 3D modelling these days and is creating videos. Probably most happy with the latest one partly because other people like it, partly because of what polybore learned making it and partly because polybore can say "hey look what polybore made".

Clicking on ads when you do not intend to purchase a product is called click fraud. Encouraging fraudulent clicks on ads is a breach of Google Adsense policies that will result in banning and blacklisting.

I wanted to let everyone know that I in no way intended to defraud Google...I'm really new to this. It truly was an honest mistake.
  18. legendarytoby
Because i think i should improve my stuff =]
  19. sarah123
I love to write, to spin and weave stories that leave a mark on people and help them reach for the stars. Sarah
    1. Haste
Feels great doesn't it? and of course gives your mind the challenge of a lifetime
    2. ToniTMTaylor
      Well said Sarah...
