Dear.I am so doubtful about your problem.Actually there are many ways to get money other than this donations. After all donations are a chance. If you get some only by chance. And that chance is depended on the visitor. So that is ultimate.make subjects helpful for your visitors. Not just seo tips or free traffic tips.Make articles on peaceful memories, nationalism, secret stories, conspiracies, gossips and many more.Make contribution, that helps the public. Then they'll let you take their love and money with no troubles. Happy blogging

gopi, I am doubtful that alot of people donate to blogs unless there is a specific reason and/or cause that they believe in. Unfortunately, I would not expect to see alot of income from this type of source.
People are very finicky about giving out cash over the internet. I pay for my own domain and do not ask for cash donations as it was my choice to purchase it.
best of luck. -
The internet is a poor place to look for a hand-out.
Nobody donates to you because nobody is willing to pay you to blog since you're clearly blogging already without monetary motivation. For the sake of examining things in another dimension, it's also possible that the benefit of reading your blog does not exceed the cost of donating to you. Simple economics.
The only blogger I've ever donated to was the Digital Cuttlefish. digitalcuttlefish.blogspot.com The reason should be immediately apparent when you read his blog. -
How many blogs do you donate to?
If you do not donate to any blogs, why not? Your reason is probably shared by all the people who visit your blog and do not donate.
If you do donate to blogs, why do you donate to those blogs and not to others? Does your blog have the same qualities that make you want to donate?
Myself, I almost never pay for something I can get for free. A blog of uncommonly high quality on a topic of compelling interest might get me to donate, but I've been in the blogosphere for more than 5 years and haven't donated yet. And I would never, ever donate to a blog that has ads on it...seems a wee bit greedy to me. -
LOL - I have a blog that has ads - and a donation point...
But truly - I NEVER expect anyone to ever donate.
Why?
Because not everyone has money to just toss around. I certainly don't. In fact money is so hard to come by right now - if I had it - I couldn't afford to donate it to anyone but myself.
If you want donations, you have to give a reason why you want those donations and it has to be something that is real, honest and truthful.

For example:
My daughter has to go into surgery, I just lost my insurance and I am behind on my bills - and cannot afford the flight to get her to another hospital. I made too much money in the last year to get medicare and since I recently lost my job, I'm currently behind in my bills and have sold everything in my house already. I have asked all friends, gone to family - hit the state up for assistance - asked the hospital for help and have always had good credit until just recently when I fell behind on my bills - because of my job loss. I have applied at every job position possible with no success - I even applied for McDonalds and janitorial work, even though my skills and qualifications are vastly different than that.. And my physical disabilities are not quite capable of that - but I can force myself - I have sold every item in my house except for the bare necessities and things that would not sell and personal pictures and papers. I now ask you to please consider donating to my blog - and I promise in return for your donations I will keep a daily to weekly post of every transpiring incident.
In return for your donation - I will also write you a poem or a lyric based on your request.

EXAMPLE ONLY ********** NOT TRUE LIFE ************

THERE - now --- although some (not all) of the above is true in MY situation (I only wrote it out because I am trying to explain that you MUST be honest - and you MUST explain WHY you are asking for assistance or donations) - if I were at the very bottom dregs - that is what I would ask and what I would provide to my readers so that they could consider giving me a donation.
I would ONLY supply the truth - and I would FOLLOW through with everything I promised.
You must be truthful in all of your dealings.
If you have followers - then your followers will either determine what you have said is enough to make them pull money out of their pockets to give to you.
You're like the guy on the corner playing guitar and singing for donations. You must play good enough - with enough heart and soul to make people be interested in dropping change in your TIP jar or donation jar.
As a blogger you are an artist - a human being - and a writer.
You must show your audience that you are worthy of receiving a donation.
You must give them a reason to pay you for your work.
BUT KNOW THIS:
There are thousands and thousands of SCAM artists... People or groups of people trying to steal or scam money from unsuspecting folks... Folks like you and me...
They tug at heartstrings, they lie, they steal, they say anything and everything to make people give them money - and then they try to scam more.
There are thousands of victims to these evil ploys every single day.
And they are people like you and me - these victims.
So - if you're real - and you have a reason for donations - then you really have to prove yourself.
The best thing you can do is provide a service and do something with your blog that makes people WANT to give you money.
And then - you can sell your stuff....
That would be worth so much more than getting a donation.
Good luck - People RARELY donate online.
Oh - and on my site - there is a donation button not merely for people to donate - but so that they can purchase items or services without paying a full price - or they can set their own price....
But heck - I'll gladly take donations too... LOL! -
Before you can place your donation gadget on your site, work on developing a loyal fan base.
Using a donation widget tends to alienate your traffic though.
We have seen blogs where the donation appears at the base of every article.
Although Source Blogger supports any and every effort to develop blogging revenue, this is a very, blatant, in-your-face approach.

Donating is a lost art on the internet. It used to be used back when there was less good and free information on the web. Now a days if you donated to every good site you come across you would die of starvation. At least I would. Donations really only work on forums for certain niche items like Mugen for an example. Even then donations are few and far between.
Leave the link up, you never know how useful your topic was and someone might donated. If you only got one donation a year, it is worth it. -
Seriously, what the hell? Donations? This is absolutely ridiculous. Nobody would donate anything to me. If anything, I should be giving money to my visitors for wasting their time.
Don't people work anymore? Why donate to a blogger when there are people out there who have never seen the internet, or a computer for that matter. I'd rather give my hard earned money to those who would appreciate it, like the HUNGRY or those with NO SHELTER! Or, as stated in a post above, those who are looking to raise money for an illness or a family member's illness.
And people wonder why I'm disgusted with humanity... -

lol...funny responses.
Just to put things in perspective, there are people who start funds and charities who makes it their primary focus to gather donations for a good cause. Their career is collecting donations and even they have a hard time collecting money. If people are going to hand over their money to you, you better have a great product/service, or an honest and worthwhile cause.
