Why lock a discussion?

Anyone know why BC lock a conversation?

Started one earlier. It was shameless, but tagged as such. Someone left a comment that was removed by the community. Then it was locked. What's that all about then?

No reason for that discussion to be locked. We have a new admin and he must have locked the discussions when he meant only to remove the one comment.

Maybe it was locked because of those vile naked pictures......though nobody will fall for that one.
