This may be more interesting for PR-types. And many marketing folk may raise a brow to my post, but that doesn't mean you're bad people. Go ahead promote all the bars of soap you want, but leave issue management to PR.
Read my post about how framing issues in marketing terms cheapens the issue and the people involved. It also prohibits marketing professionals from understanding issues completely.
