AM I the only one who gets numb to all of the requests to have blogs read. "you read mine, I'll read yours..."

I'm more curious about what makes your blog worth reading. Why do you enjoy writing it. If its only for the hits, I won't read it.

But if you can peak my curiosity, I will check it out. If its good, I'll return. And I'll do all of this, regardless of whether you check out, 4wrdthnkndad.wordpress.com/

So tell me...why should I read your blog?

I hope to one day become a successful book reviewer/publisher. This blog is just a starting ground to practice writing in a way that will hopefully appeal to readers on a larger scale. Plus I am just passionate about talking about anything literary.

Oh and you can win free books.
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
Prong- while visiting your site, I felt like I was in a very hip, old bookstore. I think it even had that familiar musty bookstore smell. Definitely a site to retreat to when you can't go to sleep. I enjoyed seeing "the Strand." I was wondering if "Ned," one of the senior employees has reached legend status yet. I'll be back.
  2. pinkmonkeychatter
You probably shouldn't..Whatever you do, please don't read my blog.
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
Pinkmonkeychatter-I will honor your request and not read your blog, although the toddler in me is tempted.

you shouldn't because chances are you can't cook and if you tried you would just screw up all my recipes.
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
Cooking-you are so right. I can't cook. And I'm horrible with recipies that don't include an oven and a pizza.

I started my blog to create a new medium of expression for myself.. I figure, I'd rather talk to my readers than talk to myself.. At least they comment and give me pretty golden stars for my time and effort

I don't really care about being popular, Blogger wise, but I do enjoy the interaction and exchange of idea's I've been experiencing lately ..

I've had a few people tell me that I need to choose a "niche". I've told them I AM the niche, as my blog is about personal experience, my Irish heritage, the wacky going's on within my neighbourhood ... it's a journey with Bettie ... lol

    take care

You should read my blog because you care for the world and care for what is happening around you.

My first blog is "Life as i know it". It was founded on August 1, 2008. When I first started blogging I had little or no knowledge about blogging. At first I just saw blogging as a way to keep an online diary. But soon realized that it was much more than that. Basically Life as i know it is a blog about me and what effects me. There are lots of posts about self improvement, poverty, peace promotion, health and environment. There are some personal pages to.

I hope you read my blog...

Because it is an alternative look on politics.
It presents a different way of doing things, a different philosophy of life.

Because it's well written (I think...)

    Because people are important.

my blog is about the games, for the moment i have flash games, but like i said for the moment, I am a gamer some said im good some said im a champ on some games. But this days i play for me not for score. I even played games for phones. My blog eatgames.blogspot.com/ I will have a second blog for stupid people.. becuase u are a stupid people when u go to a blog what give u only the game description, a short 1 and the description is infact 50% for links , i know links are good for google but.. if u go to a siet what have short description, huge adsense, and send u to other sites will not respect the visitors... is a machine for money .. so u are stupid to visit again and again a stupid blog. But u know what i will build a blog like that... i will be a bussines man for stupid people.. i can add 100 post in 1 day more fast like a do this days for my first blog becuase i lose alote time whit him all to be ok... like for the visitor eye, visitor posibiliti to navigate... in fact if i remove old,new post option will be like a normal site.. and not using labels menu

Well.. reading my blog might be interesting if you yourself are interested in the piano / keyboard.

Especially for beginning piano players, as it intents to give an overview of all kinds of resources available for beginning piano players.

For others, I reckon, there's not much to it
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
xnapoleonx- We have a piano. What little I can play, I play by ear. So I found the information and resources you provided helpful.

I suppose if you like the creative process, art, painting, photography and all the ways an artist can express herself then my blog MIGHT be interesting, but I don't feel the need to beg or ask others to come to my blog. My blog is another way for me to do art, so I don't do it for you or anybody else, but if people enjoy it in the process, hey, that is the icing on the cake
  17. everydaypeople
Why should you read my blog? Because I fell for the psychological trick you so cleverly pulled off...by making me wonder if my blog was worthy, I then was compelled to go read yours.
    Thankfully, it's a good read.
So why should you read mine? Because you could use a less ascerbic viewpoint and because I'm a damned good writer. Plus it's interesting.
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
I just checked out everyday people. It is what it advertises. Its a good read, pleasant to look at, and generally interesting. What do you think?

I could care less about hits (I'm not monetized). I write to spread the word about the principles of our nations founding and how, though we have improved since that time--in practice--we've lost the most lofty of our founding ideals

You should read mine because it's a good old-fashioned love story.....and there's a shortage of those these days.
  27. fruitcake
Being as I don't know you or your tastes, I can't really say that you should read my blog.

What I can say however, is if you are interested in improving yourself as a person by reading wonderfully written blog posts, each with their own lesson, then my blog "Finding Fruitcake" will interest you immensely.
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
Fruitcake-I admire your willingness to tackle the tough emotional, spiritual issues we must all face up to. Moveover Confucious, here comes fruitcake.
  28. m4sterix
My blog is full of wonderful articles about love and piece in the world. Just joking... It's about completely different subject and if you aren't interested in that topic, don't read it. It's simple as that. Hits are useless anyways.
  29. iyaayasmoderator
Why should you read my blog?

Well......., I'm not selling anything, I'm not trading anything, I don't need you to click on anything, and you don't need to follow it if you prefer not to.

With that said, what I do have to offer is an insight, I won't call it unique, but it is my insight of some of the things that go on in "my world". There are entries on the military (mostly U.S. Air Force), the Veterans Administration (VA), Cub Scouting, Adoption, Children, Family, Political Satire, and if you look between all of that boring stuff, theres a bit of humor and a human touch.

Why do I write my personal blog and personal web page?

It gives me a way to let things out, to express my feelings and opinions. It also allows me to pass on information that you might not know you were even looking for in life.

If you are still interested, my blog and web page are listed below.

You will read my blog because I have mind control techniques that will force you to read...even against your wishes. Resistance is futile.
  32. surveygirl46
You should read my blog so you have something new to bag on in yours:)
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
SurveyGirl46- very funny material. I love the self depreciating humor. If Ron Popeel could come up with the smokeless ashtray, and pocket fisherman, certainly he can come up with an improvement over hair paint for bald men?
    2. surveygirl46
I actually wrote my very first post on spray on hair and i mentioned ron popeel (heyyyy....did you read it????, is this my first bagging?:)) , it's somewhere on the net...that is so funny.....BUT you forgot to mention the ever ugly kymaro body shaper for the pleasantly plump, utilized so they can look thinner and still EAT their dozen dunkin donuts......
    3. F4wrdthnkndad
I did read your post on Popeel. I actually met a woman once who said she went on a date with his son. I wondered what it would be like to go to his home. Would he have a catchy jingle when you pushed the doorbell?
    4. surveygirl46
I actually think Popeel is really french for "poor people who buy my TV crap". I think the doorbell on his door would feature some chachki that would be advertised in the Lillian Vernon catalog and would probably emit a "rude" noise.

I began blogging because I needed an outlet. My "Awarded Again" post explains the story in further detail. If you go to my blog, it's currently the third post. As for what makes my blog worth reading. Well, my followers say I make them laugh. Maybe you'd enjoy some of my wacky work stories, or even my recent posts about a woodpecker that's been robbing me of my sleep.

    Peace,

blackthoughts-good stuff. I especially liked commentary on self help and the option to listen to music.

Here's the Skinny-I wish I found your blog on your New Years eve, when I was thinking about what goals I want to achieve. You provide information that never grows old. It's there when we are ready to use it.
  35. Glitzer
You should read my blog, as I started an alphabet series. Every post is based on the next running alphabet and it is about things happening in life, and my point of views.

To me, writing a blog is a freedom platform for you to express your views, there are not too many mediums where you can write so freely and consolidate all your thoughts.

The additional great thing is after people have commented on your blog / followed your blog, you will have more blogs to follow. I have discovered some great blogs through my followers and commentors. Great way to find out more and learn more!

    1. F4wrdthnkndad
Real Men ROck- I admire your commitment to your faith and the way you seek God's wisdom in your work. Something I personally find challenging to do. Reading your blog reminded me of a podcast I heard recently about a coach, who asked his fans to cheer for the opposing team. The opposing team was made up of adolescent prisoners. As I understand it, it was driven by his faith. The prison kids were shocked and inspired. I heard about it on This AMerican Life

Are you not into old-fashioned love stories? Is that why you skipped over my blog? Perhaps the description of my paramour was too "mushy" for your taste?
    1. DollinNYC
more than likely it's jealousy! Don't take it personal!
    2. F4wrdthnkndad
Doll in NYC-It's amazing how adding a doll to these familiar spots changes everything. She reminded me of Katie Holmes. I wondered which Farah Fawcett was going to appear-sick or healthy.

Because you're sleeping and it will refresh your dreams. You'll think you're hearing the Good Humor ice cream truck, and your apt to scour your house for loose change. When you wake, you'll be that much better off.
    1. F4wrdthnkndad
Avecchinoni- you sound like a very responsive parent, that understands kids. To me, it is a refreshing alternative to being instructed on what to do with kids. I kept thinking you should have a calendar or daily reminder book of some sort with all the observations you provide.
    2. avecchioni
Thanks for the kind words. While I have the floor, I should like to point out that I made a typo above. Your apt to...should be...you're apt to. Phew--wouldn't want that settling into the tomes of recorded history.

I understand that love stories aren't for everybody, but it's sad that the world has become so cynical!
  43. BikiniHotline
Well, I can say this, my blog is about bikini fashions and attitudes...hence the name, bikiniattitude. It probably wouldn't be of interest to those not seeking this information or fashion. However, I do enjoy writing. But more than that, I enjoy making women feel good about themselves.

We live in a media driven society. As a result, many women, and men for that matter, feel they have certain standards to live up to in order to be accepted. Some resort to body altering surgeries just to fit in. The long and short of it, I try to provide a pep talk to help women accept who they are. No one is created perfect. As a result, no one should sit in judgement of others. Yet it is these judgements, whether it's through a snide remark or disrespectful glance, that create insecurities. The mission for my blog is to create a change in attitudes, primarily with ones self regardless of what others think.

I'm a Human Resource Manager by profession and a 5 year old kid by choice. In my line of work I can never say what I really feel. I write because if I don't I feel like I am going to explode. I don't like PC and I want people to question their own lives. I will make you laugh, I will make you cry, and some times I may just piss you off...but one thing is for sure you will have your own opinion about my postings.
