Why The Name Of God In Pornography?

Many, especially within the religious system condemn pornography as “Evil”. But when you watch pornography, the performers often call out “Oh my God” during their sexual acts. I have watched pornography & you’ll hear the word God in just about all of them. So why are these people calling out for God if pornography is evil? YOUR THOUGHTS

WOW! I though some readers would have fun with this thread. But it would be more purposeful if you read the question before you make a comment. “BUSTED”! “I agree FP”, “Busted for sure”! and so on. You bust someone whose hiding something. It is clearly stated in the question, “I have watched pornography”.
Before I embarked on The 5 Element’s journey, I had done many wrongs, and even came very close to taking someone’s life, which is the greatest sin of all. Everything about me as an individual is clearly revealed in The 5 Elements, the goods & the bad, because The 5 Elements harbors no secret.
Now to the question: Sexuality is a ritual of decency that should not be commercialized like pornography. However, violent movies & video games that are turning people (special children) into killing monsters, these glorified products are more harmful to humanity than pornography.
One with a clear consciousness would not see watching people making love (pornography) as harmful, or sinful while being silent about the insanity of watching people being violently killed in movies & video games, and those who are doing the killing are cheered. There are many things that are glorified by society, which are more harmful to humanity then what society has condemned. -

Marriage? In what context? State sponsored unions? Or a coupling that pleases both families? Or a girl and boy who love eachother so much they ask God to make it last forever and for his blessing? What about when a husband dies and it's the brothers duty to bang the wife? Marriage was a totally different concept back then so I never understood that or pretty much anything else frowned upon in religion.

@jflower36 yes the concept of modern marriage is simple enough, however marriage in those days was completely different so honestly that point still makes no sense. Marriage in that era was essentially selling property to the highest bidder regardless of what that property wanted. Pimps do that nowadays... though of course they get the most bang for their buck. You are looking at marriage in that time through the lens of your modern day culture. There are many cultures that continue to have arranged marriages (and that doesn't make them evil). If a woman or man was treated wrong then or now, then they have to account for the wrong. -

The porn industry is based on fantasy, and on what people want to watch, and usually its what people with penises want to watch. Its not an industry based on respecting both genders, as far as I've seen.
Oh, I watch porn, definitely. I'm just saying, its one thing to be okay with it, its another to hold it up as a bastion of empowerment.
Most porn does objectify women. Its sort of the function of porn: look at these pretty ladies, think of all the nasty things we can do. Its tantalizing, and its fantasy. Fine. Watch it, get your kicks. I do, too. I'm not saying I'm above it. I'm just saying, its not like: oooh, porn, a triumph of the human spirit against the oppression of the christian society. No. Porn is dirty. Fun, functional, but NOT an example of the best of mankind.
It isnt dirty to have sex, it isnt even dirty to film it. It is a little dirty to do it for a paycheck, but most things we do for a paycheck are a little dirty.
I just think its funny to try to glorify porn as anything other than men screwing women for other, mostly male pleasure, as it perpetuates certain negative ideas about women.
Consenting adults is fine, obviously, but its dishonest to say that porn is just two consenting adults having sex. We can acknowledge that porn has its downsides without saying its evil, and we can acknowledge that porn is tantalizing without glorifying it.

I find religions to be the utmost evil thing in our world today.
I equate religion with racism.
They are both wrong in my humble opinion.
There is RIGHT and WRONG.
Wrong is anything that hurts anyone else.
Right is being a good person and not hurting others.
Mistakes happen - but they should be corrected as much as possible.
There may be some ALL powerful THING out there - but I don't think that all powerful being or thing wants us to go to war against our neighbors or to hate those that are not of the same opinion or thoughts.
I dislike anything that exerts power by extolling blind faith and fear.
A fear of being punished or being without something SHOULD NOT BE what makes a human being a good person.
They should WANT to be a good person because that is the RIGHT way to be.
PUNISHMENT - is the wrong way to make me faithful.
No thanks - I don't want to pay to make something I don't believe in by NON-OPTIONAL tithing more powerful.
It would be different if religion was democratic - but it's not.
It's pretty much just another form of government control - and it's insidious and slithery evil.

You are right that there is a lot of corruption in "religious institutions". Jesus spoke out against the religious leaders of His day who used their position to hurt the weak. Just because someone names the name of God, doesn't make them righteous or even a true believer. You are right to be angry with injustice. God will hold all accountable for sin.
By the way, I don't feel pressured into a belief in God. I believe that God is real...I would stake my life on it. -

No, religion. Organised religion is just a way to try and legitimise your insecure superstitions by having other deluded people buying into them too. LUST is just another natural human reaction to life.
Religion extols upon it's worshippers that LUST is evil and they must refrain - as a form of control.
My belief is that there was a time when raping and pillaging was far and wide --- and in a wave of fear - the leaders of the religious movements stomped down on the rapers and pillagers in the only way they knew how.
But they forgot to lift it somewhere - and started using it to keep women as chattel - so that other men wouldn't touch their women.
You do realize that WOMEN are the ones who used to come into a marriage with something - and that the men were usually poor. Small thing called a dowry.
Anyhow - in the church - there was a case where a Priest died and his WIDOW owned a significant amount of land that the church wanted... And the Church somehow decided that Priest's could no longer marry. I'm not sure where I read that - but that was when I first realized that CHURCHES were about manipulation and power - and that was WRONG.
And now they use it (lust) as a way to keep people under their thumbs.
Some religions say "do this evil deed and you'll have 9 wives for you in heaven as you die"... If that is not a manipulation of lust in men - then what is?
I totally dislike religions.

Back on the topic of pornography entwined with religion, has anyone read the novella "Story of the Eye" by George Bataille.
It was written in 1928 and details the increasingly bizarre sexual perversions of a pair of teenage lovers.
It is a great read, and contains some glorious scenes of desecration.

Exactly - even those complaining about it have obviously been curious enough to watch it.

They dont - they're too busy reading them and watching them. And thats not actually a joke, theres one that actually has his tv screen on the counter and there's porn playing all the time. The porn that they do try and sell, are the ones that news agents have cut the front covers off because the issue didnt sell for that month. So the Indian dude raids their waste bin at night and tries to re-sell the issues in his own shop
