The Brown Bag Project is a kind of last minute BloggersUnite event that BlogCatalog is spearheading. We decided to have the event one day when TonyB said that the week before Thanksgiving we should go downtown to the bridge next to San Antonio's large homeless shelter and pass out bagged lunches (something our office does a few times a year).

We decided that if we were going to do it, we might as well try to recruit other bloggers to go out and deliver a meal to someone who is hungry or donate to a local food bank on the same day, and then use your blog to inspire others to give too.

The event, being held on 11/21/09, is only a few weeks away so any assistance you can provide in spreading the word and recruiting bloggers would be awesome. The URL for the event is www.bloggersunite.org/event/brown-bag-project
