I think contests are a great way to generate buzz for a blog. It brings in new readers and it's fun for everyone. The important thing is to give out something cool as a prize. Cash is king, but so are cool gadgets. I'm currently running a contest where the prize is a iriver PMP. www.bloggernoob.com/make-money-blog-pmp-contest/10/ It has 20 gigs of storage and plays video and mp3s. What are some cool prizes you gave out for your contests?

siteproplus. ok. can i add this...do you think it's better to give out gadgets or cash as contest prizes? Entrecard credit contest have become popular lately, what do you think is the cash equalivant of 10,000 entrecard credits?
