Louis...Good question!
Yes. A blog presenation of plan could be good. Problem is other bloggers may see your ideas. Perhaps create a non public one just for the competition.
Remember, you can submit your plan in whatever medium, format you believe will have the best impact. -

Eager...definitely not!
For this compeition, being a blogger is more important (i think) than being a techie.
BlogCatalog is first and foremost for bloggers so my guess is the best idea will come from a blogger as bloggers get to see and feel everyday what they like and don't like and what they would like
We aren't looking for you to program the idea. It's the idea that counts.
If it's something that will really benefit the blogging community we will program it into BlogCatalog.

Great idea, Tony!
p.s. Even though they truly ruin these discussions and make people not want to visit, read and/or participate, never mind the smart @ss comments. -
Louis3030 is a good example of a disruptive innovation.
Disruptive Innovation is a functionality that we add or change on BlogCatalog that results in total transformation of how bloggers use and view social network sites like blogcatalog. -

AngeldaVinci... you are right!
Perhaps we should do this in an offline meeting... however...what we will do, if you agree, is raise the first place prize to $2,500 as you are right .... we are asking for ideas that will make BC the "most extraordinary Blogger Social Community on the internet".
Is that what you want to do?
If yes..then I will start a new thread with the announcement of the larger first prize. -
The first prize has been increased to $2,500. The new discussion thread about the Big Idea Challenge is
