Google chrome, a new browser by Google, was released earlier today, sept. 2,2008. and a new browser affects browsers everywhere since this might potentially be used my a lot of the community.

So now, how does your blog perform in chrome? Mine has some videos and I noticed that scrolling down is very slow, but the current layout of the blog is in tact and displays well.

if you want to try google chrome, download it at

It seems to be displaying my blogs just fine (which I guess means it's maintaining web standards, which by default makes it better than IE).

So far so good. I'll be interested to see how many people end up using it as their primary browser, though, as Firefox kind of already has the "screw you, Microsoft!" market cornered.

It's fast because it's stripped down. That means Google Chrome has none of the addons and extensions that I'm accustomed to using so I don't envision switching from Firefox to Chrome anytime soon. It's also not stable yet - BETA.

My blog opens flawlessly and faster than ever. Good bye good old Safari but I found a faster baby

As it doesn't make sense to hop from thread to thread to say the same things over and over again I'll leave it to you to check them out.
