Is it true? If you are a woman - do you enjoy a good cry sometimes? If you are a man - what's your view?

I know menfolk who cry too, I've witnessed it on a few occasions. Don't know if they like it or not though, lol.

I dont usually cry. It has to be pretty bad for me to cry. Normally I yell and cuss like a sailor to get my point across. That is about the only way they listen. If I were to sit down and cry they would walk all over me here. Now my mom cries over hallmark commercials and sad movies. She cries if the dog gets a cut on it. Some females do cry over anything.

@ AroundTheWayGirl - I've seen several men cry as well - I don't think men like it too much. Some of them use it as a tool though. One of my ex boyfriends would make himself cry (I refuse to believe it was sincere) every time we had a big fight and I threatened to leave him. I found it very annoying and disgusting which is why he is my ex. LOL
Crying is cleansing...even when you cry about something you probably shouldn't, it is still an expression of your feelings. Not good to keep those bottled up. -
I hate crying.
I don't like movies that make me cry, it makes me feel manipulated.
So I definitely don't go out of my way to cry any more than comes from natural frustration or fears.
I'm a pretty even-keel person, though. -
i don't like to cry - it smudges my eye liner.
I've hardened myself so it's rare that I cry at "real life." I'll cry with a good book, movie, etc... but real life? Nope - my heart is closed against caring about anyone unless I have 100% assured myself they truly love me (family, friends). As such, I don't get emotional like I used to. -
I'm very solution-oriented, which means that I'm far more likely to get teary over something happy and touching than something sad or upsetting. If I witness or experience something bad, it spurs me to action--I don't have time to get all weepy. But beautiful moments or signs of dramatic human solidarity can bring tears to my eyes.
