Wordpress 2.5.1 (image uploading errors, Amazon plugin)

Hi Everybody who uses Wordpress and is using the latest wordpress version 2.5.1

(1) Ever get that Evil Blank White screen while trying to insert images from the media gallery? It could be related to how your domain is spelled in your wordpress options, versus how the flash uploader sees your domain in the address bar (or if it was masked)

(2) Remember the ability to add products, links, text or pictures at will from Amazon and include your embedded affiliate account number so you can promote music, books, etc etc and maybe (hopefully) earn a few bucks commission? Well - there is a new wordpress plugin out!

    2.6 beta coming to the rescue.

    Though I confess that with a heavy load of plugins I've not had many problems at all out of 2.5.x

      2.6 eh? When's the ETA?

      I myself am the same way with my PetLvr blog - tons of plugins and it works perfectly and great, (for me). I was quite surprised when the domain issue came up causing the white screen.

    I haven't had an issue except when I auto-installed on one of my blogs when I manually installed the problems disappeared. I am disappinted 2.6 is coming out so soon.

    I don't get the white screen which is being referred to by staff in the wp.com forum as a bug. On my self hosted blog, I don't get the browse option to upload images from my computer. The contrast between my free hosted blog and my self hosted one when it comes to image uploading problems seems to indicate that the fixes are rolled out at wp.com first. Can you hear how pissed I am? I went through 4 months with a broken editor in 2.3.3. Now I have an image up load problem with 2.5.1. So hearing that yet another upgrade 2.6 is just around the corner does not provoke joy. It makes me want to grind my teeth.

      I have had some issues with the Darfur blog lately whic is wp.com.

      I do get the option to upload from my comp in my self hosted though. I have 2.5.1 or the latest version.

      If you don't get the browse option .. maybe the solution is as I described?

      Check your wordpress settings/options for the URLS.

      Your blog shows: thistimethisspace.com/

      If your settings are www.thistimethisspace.com or ThisTimeThisSpace.com .. then the solution is simple!~
