   I'm never an early adopter and wp 2.7 won't be released until November 10. Although I'm not running wp 2.7 yet, I will ask around and see who is and what they think and get back to you.

      I highly doubt it will be ready by then. I doubt most of the things currently wrong will be fixed. If they had spent less time working on the shiny new interface and more time trying to make it functional we would have been down long before now.
