Wordpress MP3 loading issues

Hi all,
I've tried seeking help for my problem in the WP forums but my thread gets avalanched into obscurity in minutes.
My problem: Can't upload MP3s into my wordpress posts.
Uploader used: Non-flash version
WP version: 2.6.2
MP3 file size: 3.44 MB
