   I think the answer is no. But, that's what "alt" and "title=" tags are meant for on images - including header images.

   If you write it in a disguised manner you will loose a lot more than the text, dude. Dont attempt to write anything with the text color as the background color. If you want your header text to be hidden as PetLvr says use an Image then use alt and put the whole thing inside a tag. Thats the best u can do. There is no alternative to content friend.
