   It depends. If they are a sociopath or have NPD they will see you as a doormat use you for all your worth. Killing with kindness only works for people with a conscious otherwise you are just subjecting yourself to toxic people for no good reason.

   well the important thing with doing anything is to make sure you do it because you want to...so regardless how that person reacts, you do it because you a kind person and not because of the reaction you hope to get.

   I had to open this thread to see if you meant the headline to be as funny as it was. Clearly you did not, as you've asked a serious question. But asking if killing someone would hurt gave me a good snicker anyway.

   well, i understand that some forms of death are not so painful, but i'm thinking that if it was some big mean poopy head like mikster ... well, he's so dead set against kindness from everyone, that giving him kindness to the point of killing him would probably hurt him a lot.
   
   i'll remember that the next time i kill him.

   If they didn't hurt me again, they might hurt you, bringing pain to others is an addiction. If you leave yourself open to it, it will return in one form or another. Being nice is one thing, being naive about it is another.
