      ouhhhhh, details??!!
    2. melindaville
I posed in the buff for a magazine called "Leg World" in the 1980's. I was also an exotic dancer for about 3 years at the Mitchell Brother's O'Farrell Street Theater in San Francisco (which is where I got the magazine gig).
    3. LolitaV
      whoah you should post pics
    4. melindaville
Nah--those days are over--although I will probably include a picture or two from those days in my memoir.
    5. Sam1982
Yes I would, and I even did a few years ago
  2. LolitaV
depends on how much. 250k yes. nothing less won't be worth the backlash from my family n community. w/250k i can tell them all to suck it
  3. cathy13
ABSOLUTELY! For the right amount of $
  4. Bullgrit
I don't like having my picture taken. (I admit it borders on a phobia.) But theoritically, I don't see a problem with nude photos and getting paid for them.
  5. dbowles1017
You mean to tell me I could have been paid to get naked? Sorry ladies, no more free shows.
    1. LolitaV
lolz, u r the slut of bc
    2. dbowles1017
slut is close but not correct. More like whore.
    3. melindaville
DB is the BC beefcake. Rawr!
    4. dbowles1017
What can I say? Some times having suspect morals comes in handy.
    5. melindaville
DB--it's worked for me. And look at it this way--you can write a 'tell all' book like me someday!
    6. dbowles1017
Writting is so 19th century. Im thinking reality show.
    7. melindaville
I might have to actually watch a reality show that you are on, DB. Normally, those shows disgust me--but a tell all reality show, now that might just make me turn on my TV again.
    8. dbowles1017
Thats what Ive been trying to tell MTV but they arent listening.
    9. melindaville
Those bastids will be sorry when we're all famous.

I used to model for artists and photographers. I began in college and quit at 50. Would I do it now? No, very few models continued for as long as I did, primarily because they had babies, bulges, and stretch marks. I was and have remained childfree so my body didn't change the way theirs did. I'm into aging gracefully and at this stage of my life I not into nude modeling.
    1. LolitaV
ohhhh you are discriminating against women with children
those who lose their bodies after kids are the ones who let themselves go and get too comfortable in their skin. i look better post kids imo
    2. timethief
ohhhh you are discriminating against women with children

Ummm ... I believe you have perceived the situation in an ass backward fashion. Artists and photographers choose which models they wish to contract with. Are they discriminatory? Of course, they are. They have contracts for commercials and magazines, etc. so they know what they want and what they don't want. They create a shortlist and I ended up on it more often than those models, whose bodies had changed due to child bearing did. In fact, once they had kids most packed it in completely because they wanted to focus on parenting.

those who lose their bodies after kids are the ones who let themselves go and get too comfortable in their skin.

Not true. The models I knew were in great shape. They didn't "let themselves go" However, regardless of the shape they were in, their bodies bore the evidence of childbearing and they didn't make the short lists as frequently as I did.

It seems the least favourite models for life drawing classes and sessions I attended wanted slim young models. Either boney, very shapely or bulges (scars and stretch marks didn't make a heap of difference). One of the teachers faves was a 70 year old man,and a middle aged man with lots of veins in his arms.
    4. timethief
      @jafabrit
Yes, that's true when it comes to artists. I still do some modeling now and then for life drawing classes. But I longer do so for photographers, who have contracts with commercial sponsors and magazines, etc. and that's where the big money was and is.
    5. celticmusicfan
Hmmm... all the more reason why I voted you as the sexiest in BC
  7. Timesobserver
Please, people would pay me to keep my clothes on!

Now, if I had my fit, younger 20-year-old body again ...
  8. Rory
Not that anyone would actually pay $$$$ to see me naked ...

Mind you, a little bit of extra cash at the moment would be nice, so YES I would do it.
    1. LolitaV
let us make a bc calendar. I have dibs on March
    2. cathy13
      sign me up for June
    3. Rory
Awwww, were you born in March too? Hmmmm, maybe there can be a "duet" ... so to speak. LOL.

*asks Cathy if that's okay! LOL*
    4. melindaville
Rawr, Rory! I think that Cathy and Rory should do a duet together.

Dibs on June for me--that's my birthday month.

We could start a Nude Bloggers Calendar. We could call it "The Birthday Suit Blogger Calendar"
    5. Rory
LOL ... sounds good. Lolita can have March (my birth month), you can have June (Cathy's birth month), and we'll do July (our marriage month)!!!
    6. footiam
Who won't have a little more cash?
  9. MissSuzie
Nope. My girly bits will never be on parade for all to see.
  10. lotusb
    In a New York minute...
  11. jafabrit
No, never. I don't like being photographed and when I have posed for drawing classes (dressed) my nose invariably starts to itch like mad. Prefer to draw a nude than be one, much more challenging.
  12. ThriftShopRomantic
No one would pay for that. A terrible investment idea. I'd have to give refunds.
  13. mikeny07
I don't think anyone wants to see me really. I think I am in pretty good shape though. It has to be done in a art way. Nothing wrong with art nudes. Im surprised nobody started a magazine with regular people posing since we have a bad economy. They rather tax pot in California to raise money? Art causes less problems than pot I would think. ha
    1. footiam
Regular people posing would not draw the crowds!
  14. amybyrd21
yep. I have a freind that made $100 just for showing her boobs. If I could make good money and there was no touching invlovled I would have to seriously consider it.
    1. melindaville
Tommy! I have missed you buddy! How are you?
  15. exit2013
I'm not into the Full Monty people...besides I don't think anyone would pay for it! LOL!
  16. nothingprofound
I've been approached by all the major publications and offered big bucks. But I told them I only go bare ass for free.
  17. SweetViolet
Been there, done that, moved on.
  18. footiam
I am really bowled over by all these answers. Thanks!
  19. aspotofblog
I have. In a different line of work. It tears me up that I got paid more to do that, than with anything else I've ever done, using my brain. Sex certainly sells.
  20. carsonfb
How much are are we talking? Send offers to...Oh, wait, this is hypothetical. Probably, for the right amount, but I highly doubt anyone would pay me.

Although, someone got to my blog by searching in Google for "Carson's balls", so you never know.
    1. footiam
Yes, the amount of cash involved should be taken into consideration. One shouldn't be too cheap!
  21. HollytheHousewife

*watching with popcorn in hand, thinking he really loves his x-ray machine because he loves watching the skeletal system in human beings*
  25. celticmusicfan
I am serious. skeletal system is better than circulatory system
  26. jazzy2103
No way! that would be... Well I wouldn't be able to live with myself!! I'd probably regret it for the rest of my life ~
    1. footiam
Some people will regret losing the opportunity of making easy money!
  27. calais50
I don't need the money, and call me a prude, but I wouldn't want just anyone to see me naked.
  28. sorcerer
