Hey Guys, I'm thinking about selling my blog over at www.moolahblog.com but I'm not sure!!! How much do you think its worth?
Its a PR3, with over 1.5K unique visitors monthly, (siteanalytics.compete.com/moolahblog.com/?metric=uv)?
It has a nice Technorati score and has made 356.00+ last month in reviews and adverts.
Backlinks:
www.moolahblog.com 3,991 total
72 google, aol, hotbot
3,919 Yahoo, Fast, Altavista
according to tools.marketleap.com/publinkpop/
What do you guys think it should sell for?
Respectfully,
Tony
I have other sites that I need to focus on more so than writing for this blog...hence, I have to let this baby go...MAYBE!:(

i've bought and sold blogs in the last year. the thing with blogs is this, it is time consuming to update, and if you have regular readers, they will not stick with a new owner. but if your site ranks well in google and gets a lot of search engine hits, new owner transition is ok.
the price would depend on how much ur blog makes mixed with the type of income. if it requires a lot of work for the bulk of income, then look at about 7 months of income. if income is easy and not time consuming, then look to 12 to 20 months of income. -

Interesting... Someone told me that i should sell for 4000! unbelievable, I never thought my hard work would pay off. I'm not sure about loyal readers but i know i have constant traffic from all over the damn place, especially search engines.
(4000 bucks? lol) www.sitepoint.com/forums/showthread.php?t=582054 -
No, I would not buy a blog but that could be because I don't blog for money. Perhaps those who do blog for money would consider the purchase of an established blog to be a worthwhile investment.
