Would you eat road kill?

As tonight seems to be the night for seeing who can post the sickest thread - here it goes - so from eating babies to eating road kill.
Read recently that some people make a fun festival of it too!

So would you eat a squished squirrel or pooched possum?

it depends. If it's a fresh kill and I'm needing food then yes. Other wise I'll pass.-

I'm not knocking it, i've had road deer before, but I don't think I would eat possums and such unless there was no other viable option.

I don't eat fast food that much. Maybe once a month. I usually end up cooking chicken.

Nah with all the toxic stuff out there and the meat not tested I have no idea what I'm eating
or if its safe for consumption.-

I've eaten much worse - so if its sanitary and prepared properly for human consumption then why not. Its still food -
Depends on what kind of animal. Deer, some kind of rare tasty bird, sure. One time my pa was running and a deer slipped and broke its neck right in front of him. We ate it.-
Good for you - venison is healthy meat.

As long as I got mayo or ketchup I can pretty well tackle anything. Well...not too hard to chew...I have dentures. -

When I was young my parents used to take me for weekend drives and dad would always carry a canvas bag in the boot of the car. Many times, out in the country, we would run over wild hares and if they were not too badly munched up, dad would put it in the bag, take it home and boil the f@@@k out of it, then we would eat it. On the whole, not too bad but quite stong because of what they ate.
