Would you get more sleep to get rid of the commmon cold?
A new study reports that sleep is good for the common cold.

Yes, rest is one of the factors in easing the common cold, as well as boosting your immune system to help prevent future colds from hitting you even harder.
Doctors recommend that you stay rested up to 48 hours after recovering from the common cold, because your immune system is at it's weakest, leaving you vulnerable to more colds or flus.
Another tip to prevent the cold season from biting you in the bum is to wash your hands, and use tissues or cough/sneeze into your arm to prevent transferring germs from your hand to other people and objects, and to encourage others to do the same. -
Rest,sleep,vitamin-c and even the flu shot are measures that have been used. Here is what the report says:
