Would you read a short novella posted in series on a blog?

I started a blog some time back, where I am posting a short novella in serial form, but I have not been able to get readers for it. Do you think people would be interested in something like that? Would you be?

    It's hard to attract readers with that, because it's a very annoying story mode. You have to check it everytime you update or you can't follow and new people can't/won't come in because they need to start reading it from the start and that's not always easy. I don't recommend blogvellas, but normally you write such things just for yourself, so don't worry.

    I once went to a site that posted short storys (over 1000 words) and it was interesting but i just couldnt be bothered. when people read the internet they are quickly flicking and scanning information and nobody wants to commit to reading a REALLY long post. Even though i am really into writing... I dont think the internet is a good medium.
    HOWEVER if you have a small but loyal group of friends and followers who have an invested interest in your work, it would be a good way to show them all your work, and if you are interested in getting published, this might be a good way to keep yourself accountable and on track while you work towards your goal.

    It just depends on what you're aim is.
