Okay, if you say "no" I know you're lying! LOL! But would you sell your blog? And if so, how much would you sell it for?

And please be realistic, most blogs are NOT worth over $1 million lol.

Now, if you guys would sell your blog, do you think you'd be selling out in a way?

Really? Because I feel everybody has a price... you just need it to be front to you in your face.

If u put your heart in ur blog...U wont even think of a price.........

until that high high price is in front of your face in cash...

That's a point. I have a personal investment in my blogs.

More to the point, from a business point of view, I think that if someone was interested in buying one, I'd just as soon keep the revenue source, as get cash.

dont think i'd sell, it'd be embarrassing trying to cash a cheque that small.

Don't sell yourself short. Too many others are willing to do so for you.

Maybe for 5000 dollars. Definitely for 10k.

No, not my blogs. I HOPE that my writing is why people like my blogs. I'd be happy to freelance some work, but selling the blog with someone else potentially using my brand? Um, nope. It's my hobby.

      Good point(s).

Most likely not. I am not really in it for the money, but instead to spread the word about my life and opinions. I agree with the above, it would be hard to just sell my brand and let someone else use it.

Luckily I doubt I will be getting any six figure offers anytime soon...or will I?

Who in their right mind would want Dead Rooster?

    I mean, really...

I would sell my blog and content for $20,000...

I've touched on this before, but: If one of my blogs was worth buying, I'd want to keep it for myself.
    • A source of revenue is, generally, better than an inert pile of cash (a generic assertion that needs a longer defense than I'm willing to write - or you're likely willing to read)
    • I'm trying to make my blogs and websites distinctive by letting my personality leak into them - distinctive and, I hope, interesting - they'd lose that "Brian touch," if a Sigurd, or Juan, or Jean, took over

Well, supposedly John Cow just sold his blog for $50,000... and yes, I think everyone has their price... www.datmoney.com/2008/04/wow-another-a-list-blog-going-for-sale.html

every thing has its price, at least so they tell us in those american movies.
don't imagine somebody would pay a dime for ofulutata.blogspot.com
    1. whojaybe
Well, you have to calculate how much your blog is actually making before you consider selling it. And the fact that you still have a .blogspot blog, you wouldn't really be able to sell it anyways.

    Never , (never say never)

I'd sell mine for the right price, but I'm not silly enough to tell anyone what the right price is since it also includes intellectual property on a bunch of templates.
  15. asithi
Sure. Like carlgalloway said for the right price. I figure I can always get another free one on blogger. Besides, I have many thoughts anyway, it is not as if I will stop thinking once I sell my blog.
