xbox 360 or a playstation 3 ?! what will be the best?!

Hello,

Iam going to buy a gaming console here in india! The thing is PS 3 is pricey even i can buy it but is it worth the cost or will i go for a xbox pro 360 a cheap(around some $550 usd) n best one?!

They both have their advantages, how many times have you found yourself wanting a game only to find it is only available on another system

Do you like rpgs or alot of action games? I'd say stay with xbox 360 unless you like role playing games like final fantasy. In which case its a no brainer, go for the ps3 since Final Fantasy 13 won't come out on xbox.

You'll have fun with the wii if you just want to kick it and not be serious. Nice family console. But like Xight said, go with the 360 unless you like a lot of RPGs

The only reason I would go PS3 at the moment is if you want a bluray drive. Personally I would go the XBox 360 theres a lot out there for it.

PS: Wii's do rock and get you moving. It is a tradeoff between graphics or being active. The PS3 and XBox 360 encourage more sitting on ones rear end that the Wii will.

Remember to check for backwards compatibility with previous versions, if you are upgrading. As to which format, it depends on your age group to an extent. For example, you get far more adult games on playstation (PS3) than on Nintendo, which I think targets younger gamers on the whole.

As to XBox I've heard mixed reports on that. PS3 would be my choice.

Xbox 360 has a LOT more exclusive games which is many people's opinions is what makes a console great.

Xbox 360 is ideal for gaming

PS3 is more of a blu-ray player that let's you play a few "next-gen" games.

So it sort of depends on what you want. In my opinion, I'd very much go for an xbox 360.

There's another advantage that the PS3 has over the Xbox 360: free online gaming. I don't give a crap if the Xbox 360 does have a better library of games. You can't knock free online gaming.
