Seriously. Everyone needs to remember exactly how small we are.

Nothing personal, I just feel a little perspective goes a long way sometimes. Helps turn those "big" problems into anthills.

Significance is reletive. What goes on in my own world feels huge and I'd prefer it that way. Otherwise I'd just be laying on the couch staring at the ceiling trying to feel God instead of making moves in life.-

WE are all insignificant and in the meantime infinitly great! This is what makes us so complex and precious.
I love to see picures of space. It remind us to put relativity and perspective in our views. -

But how relevant really is size? A scorpion less then then length of the tip of your finger can kill you, many times' its size. Viruses too small for you to even see can take your life at 20. And human beings too small to see from a thousand feet up can annihilate almost everything on the surface of the earth in 20 minutes with nuclear bombs. And while black holes may destroy an immense part of space, they themselves are often less then the size of a pencil of a bouncy ball.-

@CT: Depends upon the scorpion, but the really deadly ones are all very small. The really big scorpions may sting like hell but they won't kill you.
