My whole life has been nothing but a grace. I came to Georgia Tech hating mathematics, which in HS had been nothing but memorization, and wanting to be a Marine Corps Officer. The year before, I got in to a car accident in a steel frame car with no crumple zone that wrecked my back. I couldn't be a Marine anymore. I came to Georgia Tech, deciding I would get the engineering education anyways, and had the most incredible teacher of my life, a wonderful calculus professor named Nathan Geer who made mathematics come alive for me. By the end of the semester, I had decided mathematics was my favorite subject.-
You know how to appreciate the maths teacher, that's good.

Oh come now! How many people really get to be a great temptor? I mean that's got to be fun. Why if you ever saw the light you could start a chocolate store - or find yourself a REAL lucky woman!
Evil is simply good misused. Even Gehenna was a beautiful desert valley on the Hinnom before someone piled a bunch of trash in to it. Actually, so was Los Angeles! Appreciated how much good you have to abuse and waste.

Do I think I'm blessed? Oh, yeah.
I was born - which is something to be thankful for - and have survived for over a half-century. I've got a wonderful family around me: which is gravy, in my book.
So, yes: I'm blessed. Growing up semi-crippled gave me insights and strengths I might not have had otherwise; a 'career' that's had me working as a radio disk jockey, flower delivery guy, beet chopper and list manager gave me experience with a wonderful range of people.
Just being alive is a blessing - if a person knows how to look at it.-

How about... why do other people says "I Am Blessed" when they have materialistic things???-
People are blessed including materials-the tools for living.

Materialistic things can become part of a person, like a man's house, his car, his shop, his farm, his rifle. Obviously, that "part" still needs to be used or it is no good, and if it is only used acquiring more parts then, without knowing it, you have become an object of satire.

It depends on what you mean by that. How exactly am I blessed?-
" Blessed " can be in any ways. We can discuss here happily also considered of the " blessed ".
Appreciate all these is another " blessed ". Everywhere got " the bless ". as long we put down abnormal thought.

i feel blessed - even though i'm going through something shitty right now, at least i have my awesome family and amazing friends around making it as easy as possible! not everyone is that lucky... -
Sure, mostly. But, on days I feel less blessed, I start making a list in my mind of all those things which I like having around me and quickly things change from not blessed to VERY blessed. -
Every night when I go to bed, I say this little prayer....
