i'm curious what pc/laptop specification do you use. i start mine...

01. Processor-Intel p4 3.0 mhz
02. RAM- 1.0 gb, ddrII 400
03. Hard Disk- 410 GB wt 6 partitions (i'm amateur videographer)
04. Bus/FSB- 800 mhz
05. Motherboard- Abit is7e, socket 478
06. Fan System- Coller MAster
07. DVD/CD ROM-LG DVDr+w, Iomega CDR+w
08. Mouse/Keyboard-Wireless Belkin
09. Monitor- Compaq 14"
10. Internet speed- 512kbps
11. Audio- Creative Audigy

i ask this because. i see some of blogger appear online for long hour.let you pc get some
rest.otherwise it won't go longer.

i also ask if you use you pc for others purposed?
like me, i do some video editing, web development and some graphic works.

my pc bought in 2003 and still steady until now. i do maintenance once every two months.

ok that all, what you comp's spec?

2.33 GHz intel core 2 duo processor
3 gb 667 mhz ddr2 sdram
200 gb hard drive
ATY,RadeonX1600 17" built in screen (hey, it's a laptop, after all)
22" samsung lcd monitor
dsl internet (can't be arsed to go look up the speeds)

i also have a computer from 1999 which i used constantly until about 3 years ago and never had a failure with it - regardless of how much i used it, so i don't really buy your "let you pc get some rest.otherwise it won't go longer."

i am a graphic designer, so i use a great deal of graphics intensive stuff, some dabbling in video and audio. also web design and some coding. some flash. and some blogging.

17" Samsung Monitor
Cable Internet (10Mbps d/l 640Kbps u/l)

Just bought a laptop last year for my wife, so I have to wait before getting a new system.
