Ok everyone having just responded to another discussion about songs, I just had an idea...?
What is / are your all time fav song lyrics...?
Not the whole song please ! just try to keep it to one or two sentences.

I think i can understand now why some people never love this song.

boy am i ever a pathetic romantic. gee, thanks for the chance to recall and share my patheticness.
my first girl friend, sue, had just broken up with me, and i was convinced it was from pressure by her parents (i was literally the kid from the wrong side of the tracks). james taylor's fire and rain came out at the same time.
needless to say, i was fixated on, "susan the plans they made put an end to you". the line still stops me in my tracks.
i gotta get over it. :-) -
