   Achieving an improved Google page rank has nothing whatsoever to do with spending money. And purchasing links is a sure way to get reported to Google and see your page rank disappear.
   
   The primary focus of any blogger should be on creating high quality, interesting content, targeted at a specific audience and presented in a manner that makes it readily and easily available through search engines.

      Yes, the age of the site is one of the factors that goes into page rank calculation.
      Please do not be drawn into using any black hat SEO techniques. Your site is doing really well and you should be proud of it. Stick to the basics and shun the sleazy stuff, okay?
      Please keep reading the posts that set out the basics for white hat SEO that I have provided and following the instructions there because your organic traffic as well as your page rank will improve if you do.

   Purchasing links to low quality sites that include links that exactly resemble the spam we receive such as those to online gaming, casino and gambling vacation tour sites is NOT IMHO the way to go to improve your page rank.
   
   Google penalizes bloggers who buy links!
   
   Creating organic traffic flow is the only way to go. If you have been linking to such sites as well as sites like those selling penis extenders, drugs, porno and illegal rapidshare downloads then it's certainly no wonder that your page rank is zero.
   
   There is no substitute for organic traffic -- you either have it and start building a page rank based on it or you do not.

   What do you mean by black hat SEO techniques ? I guess I won`t be using them since I don`t even know what they are . What I am doing these days is mostly joining blog directories - but I hope that`s a white hat SEO - or is it ?
