Your blog traffic and exposure

One of the things we are focused on doing at BlogCatalog is trying to figure out ways to give bloggers more opportunities - whether it be money making opportunities, more exposure, ways to improve their writing and ways to increase blog traffic.

A new site that joined BC recently is broowaha.com

The idea for becoming involved in BrooWaha is to give bloggers who want to get more exposure for their work, along with more traffic another opportunity to do so.

It is also a way to get "Real News, Written by Real People." Or a way to share real news with a large group of readers.

BrooWaha is billed as a citizen newspaper. Anyone can join and connect with other writers and more readers. Each article written shows the author and in the profile there is a place for a link to your blog or website.

The articles that show up high on the site are those that are the most popular based on readers rather than what editors think are the best.

We are figuring out ways to improve the site and to build in more incentives. In the meantime, if you want more exposure for your work and your blog, check it out and if you have some news or an opinion piece to share, please do so.

I wish I could be writing on different issues, but Blog Catalog would connect my various blogs together. I wouldn't want it, because it could some day create a trail back to me, unless all my blogs are anonymous (a hard burden to maintain). Is there any solution for this?
