Some people are really crazy after Paris Hilton? This question has been blowing on my head for a while. Will you want your daughter to be like Paris Hilton? Will you be proud of her if she is so?

Well, I would prefer my daughter to be more of an Ivanka Trump but I can't really control what she does with her life.
As parents, the best we can do is be supportive and nurturing. If we create an environment that is conducive to personal growth and learning for the first 18 years, minimum, we have a pretty good chance that the results will be favorable.
Paris isn't exactly a good example for this forum. There's probably not many billionaire parents lurking in the BC discussions. Paris was probably privy to tutors, nannies and maids. For the rest of us, we make due with what we have. -
If my child had the business sense she does then I'd be quite proud. Okay so she parties, if I had a daughter who didn't party in her 20's I'd be concerned. It's normal and is only being blown up because of her celebrity status. Not to mention she has been very calm for awhile now. She has a fairly high IQ, college educated, follows her dreams but still has several successful solid business to fall back on. I see no issue with her that doesn't exist with most people her age. All stressers and gossip aside, she has handled it very well. I would love it if my child possessed such resiliency

My daughter is a mom of four children. She is going to school almost full-time and working almost full-time. Her children are better behaved than most and she is raising them with little help from their dad. I am proud of her as she is and I believe she has a lot more going for her than Ms. Hilton.
