My post today relates how difficult it is for me to find something passionate to do...

Is your job your dream job?
How did you find your dream job?
Was it a childhood dream?
Was it a revelation?
a luck?

copy/paste your answers in my blog are always a good idea. no-half-truth.blogspot.com

Honestly, right now, I don't know what I'm going to do in the future and for now I don't have a dream job!

      How old are you?
    2. anthony9910
19 LOL I guess i hope i will find my find my dream job

Sorry, I did not read well the post! I thought you were asking what's your dream job! Pardon me!

Yes, I'd say my job is my dream job, really. I teach psychology and sociology classes online so I get to work from home. My husband and I are bicoastal so I need to have a job where I can telecommute. My job is perfect because it gives me the flexibility to be able to work from anywhere! "Have laptop, will travel!" Today, I am working on preparing my classes for the new term that starts next Wednesday!

What's bicoastal? not in my dictionary...
That's something else... I like to travel to much to do a job in a specific city.
    2. melindaville
Bicoastal: two coasts My husband and I divide our time between San Francisco and Boston.

Is your job your dream job? To own my own resturant or catering buisness (saving money towards it)
How did you find your dream job? It just came from my love of cooking and entertaining
Was it a childhood dream? no
Was it a revelation? yes it just smacked me up side the head one day
    1. thetruthseeker
Thanks Amy. BTW your job could be my husband dream job I would say. Do you work crazy hours?
  4. aningeniousname
It would either be a Kepflingdaigler in a strumphorn factory or a freelance dinglemeyer who moonlighted as a flumgangler.
    1. melindaville
I bet you'd really ace either one of those jobs, anin.

But I want to see you in some frilly pants if you are going to be a flumgangler!
    2. aningeniousname
Well of course I would wear frilly pants it's against every health and safety law in the book to flumgangle without frilly pants. The kinklefreyer could get caught in the flappcrapensteiner and that would create a chain reaction that if unchecked could result in the end of life as we know it. And nobody wants that.......Republicans and Born again Christians apart.
    3. ThriftShopRomantic
I thought it involved leiderhosen instead of frilly pants.
    4. SweetViolet
Gee, Jen...don't you know anything?? The frilly pants are worn under the leiderhosen! I am soooo disappointed...I thought you knew ALL about that kinda stuff!

I didn't think this topic was brand new... ha! 30 and loser (like I sometimes call myself).
Anyway, nice rings on your picture in your blog ; )

We have two things in common. Diamonds (mine are real though) and our age! The only Chuck I know is the Iceman, Chuck Lidell. But not personally.
  7. HollytheHousewife
I would just like to be,without anyone having a problem with it.
    1. thetruthseeker
I hope it wouldn't be a job... to be?
Are you happy Beeing a housewife Holly?
    2. HollytheHousewife
I am,the problem is my family thinks I shouldn't be a houswife. They say I'm wasting all of my potential, but I just want my girls to come home to dinner, and homework time, and quality time. U kno safe and secure feeling. I never had that growing up. My mama wasn't the type to do arts crafts, feild trips.... I love it
    3. nothingprofound
Holly, if you're happy being a housewife that's all that matters. That's as wonderful as being a President or a poet.

I've always had my dream job which is simply to live and mind my own business. I've worked very little in my life and didn't miss it. I have no career except to be free and happy.
    1. thetruthseeker
I'm not sure if I should read that litterally or metaphorically? You have a business, or you mind of your own business. I hate beeing lost in translation Damn it! I feel like an idiot!
Are you the son of a rich man?
  9. nothingprofound
I live my own life and don't tell others how to live theirs. I'm a rich man because I don't want anything.
    1. thetruthseeker
I get that. But what's paying the bills?
Your dream job or just a job?...
    2. nothingprofound
When I was younger I shuttled between sponging off people and doing odd jobs. Later, I got a part-time job which I did for a number of years. I retired as soon as I was able and now live very joyfully on a meager pension.
  10. HollytheHousewife
Me to NP. I give a damn about labels..its soooooo not important. Being happy is

This! Blogging. But professionally - not the opinionated unprofessional stuff I'm doing now. I want to take to the next level and become a freelance journalist and supply my own news stories - that would be amazing.
  12. ThriftShopRomantic
I've love to be a novelist full-time. As it is, I carve out bits of time for working on my novel where I can.
  13. cazywaz
To be an Outdoor adventure instructor.
All you do all day is bring people caving, kayaking and rock climbing.
It'd be fun and you wouldn't have to worry about going to the gym.
  14. SweetViolet
    Hmmm...dream job...

Sleep as late as I want...hang out all day in my jammies...write a little here or there...fool around with the art program...and have enough income to live comfortably, have a maid to do the housework, and drive a nice car...

Oh yah...I already have all that! Must be my dream job!
