My blog pretty much sums up my preference: greekgourmand.blogspot.com/
Selected traditional and regional Greek food recipes along with reflections relating to the culinary practices, customs, facts, and history of Greek cookery and gastronomy. -
Lefse and gjetost. It's been a long time since I've had either, and longer since I've had well-made samples.
The gjetost available in America, at least where I was able to look, is cut half-and-half with cows' milk: a deplorably insipid product.
Oh, well: I'll live.
(Funny, you seldom hear about Norwegian cuisine: I suppose 1,001 ways to prepare scrod does have a limited appeal.) -
Well, I moved from New York City with the best ethnic food selection in the world to Idaho where the ethnic food is Mexican and Basque. Both fine cuisines, but I miss Jewish delis, Indian, Ukranian, Polish, Chinese, and Afghani food! I used to eat Afghan kebabs 5 times a week, so I guess I miss them the most!

I like Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese, They all similar but has a different taste, really like their white noodle, spicy sauce and their tea too.
