I love jungle, breakcore, dubstep and other more extreme electronic music styles-
Listening to reggae right now tho.
BTW Røyksopp comes from a city I used to live. Once they were DJ'ing at this dirty little club and I met one of the Røyksopp guys at the toilet.
He started to make comments about my dreadlocks and how bad dreadlocks were. I started talking trash about their latest album becoming to mainstream.
He was actually nice after that ;-)
They played a great DJ set tho!! My feet hurt real bad after all the dancing. -
Classical is my favorite: Bach, Beethoven, Grieg, Dvorák, whatever. I suspect that's because it's the last few century's worth of commercial music, with the junk sifted out.
Jazz is up there, too. Aside from having a really good, and varied, sound, it's a uniquely American form. And, to top it all off, it is *performance* music. Strictly speaking, jazz can't be written down. Each performance is unique.
(Some) Rock, folk, (some) country, Kenyan folk: I like, or can appreciate, just about anything that's done well. -

Third Day www.thirdday.com has been my favorite band for several years. I also like Mandisa, Toby Mac, Newsboys, Building 429, Chris Tomlin and a whole lot of other CCM artists.

I've got over 3300 .mp3's and albums on my MusicMatch and it plays random. If I don't like it, I click next although, I usually listen to it anyway. Right now - I'm listening to Porcupine Tree. I just listened to Royal City. My next song is The Sensational Alex Harvey Band

I wonder if radio stations are losing money? Because almost everyone is into their own music now, mp3s and players and such. I hate radio music. When I'm at work, I listen to Pandora.com for streaming music, but in my car, I love my mp3s cds. Hundreds of songs on one cd, its incredible.
I like a wide variety of music, from country, to rock, to hip hop, to folk to indie. I guess a shorter list would be what I don't like, which....I can't think of right now. Oh, I hate screwed and chopped - but is that a genre?-
If it were up to me I would listen to an mp3 player at work, or even the radio. I think how much knowledge I'd gain about spiritual matters if I could sit and listen to David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll, J. Vernon McGee, James Dobson and Woodrow Kroll all day :-)
I'm really enjoying radio dramas now because tv has gotten so (yawn) boring.
