Music always brings images to my mind.
If there was a documentary of your life what music would be in the soundtrack?

Right now I bouncing between
"We didn't start the fire" Billy Joel
and
"Busted" Ray Charles

There are many more but that a start.

Bizarrely enough, I know the Whitney Houston song by heart.

The song title is "Greatest Love of All"

Ha - that's why I started my blog. I've always got a song in the back of my head. Right now, James Hunter's "Riot in My Heart" is playing, mostly because I wanted to blog it yesterday and I can't seem to get it on-line to embed. Grrr.

There would be so many different things. I have even thought about the soundtrack to my memoir. Some of the highlights would have to include:

    Rehab: Amy Winehouse
Dancing on the Edge: Concrete Blonde
Burning down the house: Talking Heads
    What's Up: Four Non Blondes
Suddenly I see: Can't remember her name now (brain fart)
I Did It My Way: Sid Vicious version

Those are the ones I think of right off the top.
    1. aningeniousname
That Sid Vicious version of "My way" is classic.
    2. melindaville
Absolutely, anin--I loved Martin Scorcese's use of that song at the end of Goodfellas. Classic.
    3. aningeniousname
Didn't he also do "Summertime blues" in that film?
    4. melindaville
That one I don't remember--but that entire film had a fabulous soundtrack. Scorcese gets that stuff right, always.

He can direct the film of my memoir--I have decided! I'll be sure to let him know he's been chosen.
