      If we all planted a tree today, picked up a piece of litter in the street, and in general followed environmentally sound ways of living, there wouldn't be as big of a problem. We can't wait for governments to make the needed changes. We need to each take the small steps that make our personal environments more sustainable. After all, each of our personal environments is part of the global environment.

   We have to plant because its our own environment that we are talking about ...everyone plays an important role...even if everyone plats a 2 trees for every tree cut we can greatly increase greenery and reduce global warming..

       hey thats all you need to do, I am doing my part and my degrees from college are in environmental science and I am glad I'm putting them to good use. Even as hypocritical as it sounds espcally given our current worldly enviromental issues...every little bit counts.

    We have wrong life style. Wrong definition of progress. But now all countries are following what west or developed countries are doing.
    What science we know is incomplete form of science.
    
    Human will not be able to take corrective measures against pollution at the speed and scale it is required so by the 2047 the earth will be almost destroyed due to earthquake,flood ,diseases and related problems.

Everything we do can and will effect the environment directly or indirectly. As our irrational and careless steps will devastate the environment, our “green steps” will come in handy in protecting it.
    
    On this day, I am requesting you to take a minute of your time to look around and appreciate the planet around you. This beautiful world might not be so beautiful after a few years, if we don't act now.

    1. and the easiest to do don't litter
    2. cut the plastic rings from your beverages
    3. buy canvas

    5. donate your things. You can donate electronics, clothes, toys, join freecycle.com
