Is anyone in this program? I don't read much about it.
The only articles I have read are in my local newspapers about high school kids making thousands a month doing it.
What kind of content gets a lot of video views? I never really go on there.
I know there are guidelines on content. Can you play some songs and make a video of it? Older songs like Jingle Bells and so on? Or show people how to play them? These can't be under copyright still can they?

    I'm pretty sure it's a scam .. I saw 2 ad's on one page featuring the same guy, in one ad, he makes 150 per day. In the other ad, he makes 350 a day .. They can't even bull#hit properly in thier advertisments .. what does that tell ya?

    No it is real. I read it online and in my local newspapers. The majority though make far less.

    It is not an easy program to get onto. They will only consider your application if your existing YouTube video content demonstrates that your videos regularly get tens of thousands of views.

    Check the YouTube terms of service for the legal stuff.

    As for music providing you play the music yourself you should be ok doing cover versions.

    I've read it online and in my local newspapers as well, but if everyone could just sign up and make this kind of money, we'd all quit working .. maybe I should have said that instead of calling it a scam .. it's just false advertising I suppose.
