I see that there is a lot of discussions about war in Iraq and Afganistan...Has any of you, especially Americans, seen the movie called Zeitgeist ?

I've watched it and I was amazed and shocked...I'd like to know what you think about it..

From what I briefly read this isn't my cup of tea, but for those who may be interested, here's a review:

Movie is documentary and it is about three things: religion, 9/11 and war against terror and domination of international bankers..

p.s. some parts of review are deliberately written wrong, for example message from author was not: It is my hope that people will not take what is said in the film as the truth..

but: It is my hope that people will not take what is said
in the film as the truth, but find out for themselves, for truth is not told, it is realized...you can see that here: www.zeitgeistmovie.com/statement.htm

hope someone will watch the movie than we can discuss it..

Everything that comes our way should be weighed! Books, movies etc are made by man and could be bias, distorted etc according to the whims of the authors but we should not follow blindly. If there is truth, accept it, if not reject it. No hard feelings!

I thought the first however many minutes they spend debunking Christianity was
    offensive and I was furious.

I much prefer Aaron Russo's Freedom to Fascism which is also available on Youtube.

It exposes the motives of the Federal Reserve, the illegality of the US Federal income tax, the underpinnings of a National ID Card, the RFID chip and the dangerous implications of it... and the North American Union.

I liked the debunking Christianity part but there are a multitude of books on Christianity which are probably a more substantive. I also
suggest reading the "Shock Doctrine". I've seen most of the film and merely hope if causes people to investigate for themselves.

exactly..I think that purpose of film was to inspire people to investigate those issues on their own...

Yes very interesting Movie- saw it months ago, so I don't remember everything. I do think the War in Iraq is based on the need for Oil. The Middle East has 700 Billion Barrels of oil in reserves, the rest of the world combined has about 350 billion barrels - the entire World / Global Economy will/does depend on OIL - WHY? Because they all must Distribute their good importing and exporting. The Global Economy wants to keep spinning, so the Nations of the World want their OIL - perhaps behind closed doors they support the USA, for this very reason - OIL disruption would mean the disruption of current prices/pricing - increase prices and you'll have a Global Economy in trouble. See my blog for my recent article on this topic too. Thanks Brian Morgan

This film many never seen in the U.S. Nevertheless, it demonstrates that people on Earth have become slaves of a system. Americans, I advise you to see this film...

Anything that makes people think is good. I don't spend too much time on conspiracy theories since my inbox is constantly being flooded with stories that have merit but require hours of follow-up research.

Saw the first Zeitgeist film when it came out a few years ago. Thought it was very good, but I remember thinking that the first part about religion was not as strong as the material on 9/11 or the Federal Reserve. The film definately got me thinking and researching in different areas though.
