Absolutely - I'm a text book Libra - so much so I have a six inch square tattoo on my lower back to commemorate it. I also follow astrology...

I go so far as to visit my astrologist every three months to get a handle on what's going to happen - for example, mercury retrograde is happening right now - so i'm very cautious in making any decisions and try to just lay low - used to have TERRIBLE retrogrades until I reconfigured my thinking and approach to them!

I don't believe in the extremely general sun sign astrology that newspapers and magazines publish, but birth charts that are drawn up with your exact birth time are very accurate, as are examining the progressed charts & transits in terms of forecasting events. The well-known astrologer, Robert Hand, says the natal (birth) chart is an accurate blueprint of the energy the person will go through in order to learn certain lessons for the evolution of their soul during this incarnation.

Ironically:
I know my sign, but don't at all believe in astrology.
I don't know my blood type, but it's an important piece of medical data. -
I'm a Virgo through and through. I don't really follow any horoscopes or charts but I do like looking back to see if my day went like the newspaper said it world. I always look at the Cosmo horoscopes when I'm waiting in line at the grocery store. Apparently I lead quite a stimulating and exciting life. Who knew?

i'm a Virgo (but with some Leo traits because my birthday is the 26th of August). i'm like both and another thing out there that people should look into is the numerology of their names...it's scary how accurate those can be. i'm spot on with both the astrological and numerical signs.
this site helps explain name numerology: kabalarians.com/ -
I am a text book scorpio, so much so that my friend used me as her example in her thesis on astrology.

I am a Gemini II and I do fit the mold of that week within the Gemini days. However, I have been shaped by my own reality as well so it's not always completely accurate. I can be too many people in the span of a few minutes which feels like a blessing and a curse. Sometimes I need to take a trip to the looney bin to reel it all in hah...well not yet but I've circled around it pondering =P
My other half is Capricorn II I believe and he also fits the idea behind it. For example, he saves money really well and tends to spend on one big quality item once in a blue moon. One thing he does not fit into is desire for family/fatherhood. He loathes children as much as I do as well as the idea of family. I believe that came as a result of his own families past, as opposed to myself who doesn't want any family of my own..I intend to keep all my money to spend on myself only. Selfish and I love it! -

I'm a gemini, and in some ways I guess I fit the description of a gemini. I'm very curious, fickle, sort of all over the place with new things and ideas all the time, kind of split into two (or more) facets to my personality.
I don't put much stock in astrology, though. It may give general descriptions of personality traits, that may or may not fit you. The above characteristics can fit a lot of people, not just geminis. And I definitely don't believe my zodiac sign will tell me anything about what's going to happen in the future. -

I absolutely, positively do not associate the complexities of life or my perception of life with any sort of over simplified tool of explanation, such as a zodiac.
I do have a question about this zodiac business though... We all know that our solarsystem is moving, and that all the other star systems are also moving in a variety of differing directions. Everything in the galaxy is moving as the entire thing spins. The zodiac signs look the way they do because of the current arrangement of stars in our skys. But if everything is moving the zodiacs will only look the way they do now for a limited amount of time. So what happens to all the zodiac believers when the signs are no longer visible? (granted this may take ten thousand years or so....) It's kinda like seeing shapes in the clouds only for a longer period of time. ...that would be silly though. Who would ever think that cloud arrangements could predict human behaviors and life events....

does the moon effect the sea? The version of astrology utilized by my mothers side of the family doesn't say looking at the signs effect your personality, they believe the alignment at the of the planets during the time of your birth give you the traits. Sort of like a push and pull of planetary forces. If the stars disappear it doesn't mean that the planets will. Watered down magazine horoscopes mean very little as they are usually designed assuming every planet is in a certain sign, more specific ones tend to take it all into consideration. Certain traits are statistically found in people who were born during certain alignments. That thesis my friend wrote examined children ages 5 and under from each sign using a chart and noted only one in 36 did not naturally exhibits behaviors or actions associated with their chart.
Lol in short, I say if a full moon causes labor, craziness and other such things, why is it so hard to imagine that the other planets play a part. *note I know there is a debate on this, but statistically more children are born and more emergency rooms are filled on a full moon

I'm a Libra and have to say that there are a lot of elements I'm in tune with. Astrology is very interesting. I also need to look into it ^_^!

That it is, it's fun to poke at. Just try not to let it make decisions for you!
I'm sure you won't, I just sadly recalled several bodies that base their decisions on this girl or guy being a sign they normally don't match up with(gave me the urge to post). They forget that each individual has a past that molds them just enough so they are not completely like others of the similar sign. Either way, I don't grasp how anyone can make decisions using that alone.

My sunsign is Cancer. I can not say that I identify myself so much with it, but that does not mean I am not interested in astrology. I very much am and have been studying it for years.

oddly enough moon signs are more the real you, as in what you don't show to the world. Sun= external, moon = internal. I have an aries moon and if you mix that with the scorpio sun you get that whole "eerily accurate about me" www.arseniccookies.com/eerily-accurate/ page on my blog, they wrote that all based on my date, time and location of birth and it is scary accurate. I would not focus too much on sun, as the other planets help it make more sense. If you have genuine interest, I would see if you can get one of these as they are so accurate it'sdown right creepy
*sorry for the link drop, I felt it would help explain what I was saying -
"I should have been that I am /Had the maidenliest star in the firmament/ Twinkled on my bastardizing."
I think it's all pretty silly.
