A friend of mine forwarded this website to me, it's about how downed cows, those who can't stand any longer, are being shocked, mutilated, beaten to make them stand up in order to be "approved" by the USDA.

Absolutely appauling that the USDA would see this as an acceptale treatment for animals. These cows are being slaughtered and the meat is provided to School Lunch Programs.

There is a petition going around for you to send a letter (edit a pre-done letter or sent the letter as is) To the Department of Agriculture at the White House.
