   I share your concerns but also ask how can we somehow put a stop to the madness of war, it has always been the plague of mankind and continues to be so...

      its not that v cn do something.
      but trust me after this incident,the terror attacks in mumbai,people hav really woken up..and showin signs of revolution against this politicians and people r really in anger

   Any violent attack (Mumbai, Madrid, London, of 9/11 for terrorism) or other attacks (Columbine, e.g.) always "wakes" people up. As gPE said, human history is filled with violence, war, and terror. There's going to be a conference on evolutionary psychology and war soon, and I've read the books of some of the attendees. Unfortunately, most people react all out of proportion to the attacks (see www.bruceschneier.com/blog for a good analysis).
