new art site.....please take a look!

After taking ages trying to get people to notice me as an artist I realised theres nothing really to help people get seen.
So I have started a blog where anyone can email me their drawings or doodles and I'll upload them for everyone to see.
I need to get as much publicity as I can so that theres a lot of people to see the art people send.
I hope it will help some people!

Look at art shows and buyers of art. Their are agents and brookers of art. If you attented an art school or program they may direct you. There are different parts of the world more receptive to new artist, i.e. Denver, L.A., and New York...Also Tex. Good Luck.... -

Hey...I like your idea.
One suggestion I might have is to have a theme per week or month once you start getting more art sent in. That way artists can create art specific to your blog. Maybe turn it into a competition...you may see more participation that way.
Either way, cool idea...I'll be sending you stuff soon.

Great Idea..During the summer and fall there are a number or art fairs. Perhaps you may do some research and list them all. This list could then be marketed for various reasons. The best reason could be your work. Perhaps, you visit fairs near you and network. Tell your story. People love to know their artist big time. The bad stuff really sells.

You may want to consider forming a small group of artist, and have a showing. Get a sponsor, wine, cheese, place, press-release, and donate a work to local something. Perhaps partner with some writiers and poets. I can see it now. You may have an Art Council to share the idea. You may have to develop a market. Read some books on art marketing. Start a bio....Stress how you struggled and suffered.
